Centrefold ~ Ready to Go review by Cat Hennebury

Just as the band name suggests, Centrefold is a sexy rockband.  Ready to Go is a full out rockin view of the physical side of intimate relationships and love…. or the lack of love as suggested in the cd’s first track Can’t say No, hehehe.   Oh yeah I couldn’t say no a time or two in my lifetime …. the sex is totally hot, incredible, taking you places you want to go to again… and again… and let’s face it, again.  That kind of passion can be pretty fucking dangerous.   Not only can’t you say no but when someone makes you feel that good physically, it’s hard not say those three little words….oh yeah baby!… um I mean…. I love you!  Be very careful with those words boys and girls.  Just because someone makes you feel that way does not mean you are in love… trust me, I’ve tested this theory.   And you know, come to think of it, why should it be a surprise?  Since when have great sex and marriage ever been synonymous terms?

Jordan Sadowski, Ameet Gajjar, David Fox, Lee BarBour

But I digress… I highly recommend to rock music fans that they take a listen to Centrefold‘s Ready to Go.  The band itself is made up of Ameet Gajjar up front on vocals and acoustic guitar, Jordan Sadowski on bass, Lee BarBour on guitar and David Fox behind the drums.  These four guys have incredible talent between them.  The way they come together gives great energy and chemistry to their songs.  And although they are a young band made up of young members they have been playing and practicing their craft for many years.  Their collective talent and experience shows through on this incredible debut rock album.

Songs such as Roses Fall and California are quickly becoming radio play regulars.  Their moving and touching lyrics along with their tight and professional sound makes Centrefold a quick favourite with fans.  The music is tight and professional, the vocals are outstanding, the lyric’s are sexy and easy to relate to – let’s face it,  we’ve all been there.  We’ve all loved and lost.  We’ve all missed someone after a break-up.  Someone who was totally wrong for us and yet we still fucking called them drunk at 3 am looking for …. no?  That’s just me?  I doubt it…they wouldn’t write songs about it if it were just me!

About Cat

Hi, I'm Cat. I love music and I love to write! I write a blog about the music I love and how I relate to it. I write my reviews here much the same way. They are honest and positive. I have a pretty open mind so actually there isn't a lot of music around that I can't appreciate. Oh one other thing, I suffer from a terrible case of trucker's mouth...if swearing offends you, you may want to fuck off now.
