Kasey Lansdale
With the completion of her 3rd EP, tentatively titled Never Say Never, Kasey Lansdale is as focused as she is excited, which is no small feat considering how many irons this ambitious 24 year old Texas native has in the fire. Whether juggling international tour dates, recording in Nashville, or writing songs as the newest staff writer for Music Row publishing house, Spoon’s Tunes, Lansdale approaches all of her ventures with a determination and comfort that belies her years. While many young performers might become overwhelmed and lose focus, Lansdale is very clear: “My true passion is singing. The stage is where I feel most at home. That is where I want to be.”
Never Say Never was produced by one of Nashville’s most esteemed producers, Mike Clute, whose resume reads like a who’s who of country music’s elite with credits ranging from Faith Hill to Diamond Rio. The two were introduced last year by a mutual friend, which worked out well for both. Of their creative collaboration, Lansdale said “Working with Clute was amazing. He is so perceptive and intuitive about an artist’s needs and vision. I really appreciate the heart he put into this project”. Clute is equally enthusiastic about Lansdale, saying “Kasey has a contagious enthusiasm for her music. It has been a pleasure to witness her growth as a writer, performer, and entertainer. Her focus on musical direction and her hard work in perfecting her craft will continue to drive a long and successful career.”
Never Say Never features five songs, four of which were penned by some of Nashville’s most sought-after tunesmiths, including Roxie Dean, Bob DiPiero, and Victoria Banks, and one that was co-written by Lansdale, Clute and Arlos Smith. Within these songs, Lansdale manages to showcase her vocal versatility with moments ranging from classic country phrasing that is evocative of an early Reba to powerful bluesy chops with a soulfulness that make it easy to forget how young she is.
If you sit down and talk with Lansdale, you will be struck on a variety of levels. Of course, the first thing you’ll notice is that she is strikingly beautiful, so it’s no mystery that she has worked successfully as a model and was featured in Jim Lauderdale’s music video for his single “Never Gonna Hurt”. Once you get past the superficial, look out! Lansdale is as intelligent and engaging as she is pretty and talented, and can regale you with stories of her travels, her many interests and experiences—not the least of which was being a published author by Random House at age 8 with a story that has since been adapted into a Hollywood screenplay and is currently being shopped to studios as you read!
Never reluctant to go where the work is, Lansdale is constantly on the road. She just returned from a series of dates in Italy, completed another round of co-writing sessions in Nashville, and is a regular fixture at high profile shows across her home state of Texas. Grammy Award winner and fellow Texan Linda Davis says of her: “Kasey is a fellow East Texan with dreams much bigger than our state! When I heard her sing I knew that with the right songs and right producer she will make her mark in country music. Her work ethic might just be what will seal the “record” deal. She’s not afraid to work hard!”

Red Abbey
Originally a duo from NYC, Red Abbey is known for their unique image and tunes. Comprised of band members Trey Ordaz and Thien-nga also known as “T” the duo has expanded their style over the last two years- adding a band and branding their blues/funk/rock sound on both coasts- NYC and Vegas.
Red Abbey is a super charged emerging rock band and they are gaining momentum and attention for their high energy live shows and attitude filled songs. Combining Thien-nga’s unique vocals and violin with Trey’s edgy guitar results in a original blend of rock, punk and funk.
Last year the band came out with a bang when they released their debut album On My Way in December of 2009- showing audiences and fans a different side to blues/rock.
This year, they released their first full-length album Bulldozer with producer Kent Hertz; some of Hertz’s previous projects include Beyonce, Michael Jackson and Missy Elliot to name a few. With comparisons to Led Zeppelin meets The Pretenders you want to keep an eye out for this group; they are definitely on the rise to something great.

Emina
Emina was going to be a singer, it was her destination in life and she had always known it since she was a child.
Raised in a small town between folk, country music and line dance she chose idols like Bruce Dickinson and David Coverdale; Whitesnake and Black Sabbath were her daily diet, and at the age of 16 she started working in several bands. As soon as school was finished she left home to further her career. Some years of coaching with an opera singer, cooperations with different producers and songwriters, playing lots of gigs with lots of bands followed, and when she won a casting show she found herself in the offices of a big label. She was signed for five years. Several singles, videos and an album were released, earning her local fame and touring with Motörhead, Uriah Heep and The Cult.
Essentially being an internationally minded person she moved to Europe after the five years were up, and drew up in Vienna in 2010 with eleven original tracks in her mind. She found a congenial partner in SixtySix Records for the release. A band was formed – from the very beginning there was magic between the four musicians. Mary, a pro drummer was so much taken with Eminas songs that she virtually rediscovered her talent for rock drumming. Andy on bass, formerly a much asked for session musician in Vienna dropped all his current engagements to dedicate himself fully to this new project. He and Steve on guitar had played together earlier, their projects back then had shared the stage with Alannah Myles, Manfred Mann and Uriah Heep.
Two months after the forming of the band they played a rock festival and in May 2011 the first four tracks of the new album were released digitally as an EP. Media, radio and fan reactions from all over the world were enthusiastic – feedback came from the USA and Canada, Chile, Australia, the UK, the Netherlands and Russia and showed that the band is on a rocking good way up.
Emina is happy to announce the release of their album in December 2011 for USA and February 2012 for Europe & UK. Right in time for that, they will launch the official music video for “Don´t Need Words” on Dec 3rd.
Watch out for the release tourdates.
Meanwhile you can download their EP from all major download stores and the limited edition CD is available in our store, and you can listen to our music on air on a lot of radio stations across the world.
Emina has been booked for the Winter Rock Festival in Vienna, Jan 27th with The Steady Rumours, Business Socks, Sturmlicht and Mind Expanded.

STEMM
STEMM penned the UFC theme song, Face the Pain 8 years ago branding the Hard Rock act as The Soundtrack to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. After years of independent success, STEMM has returned with their sophomore effort, Cross Roads through Catch 22 Records.
A taste of Active Rock / Satellite Radio success and 150+ road shows supporting their previous release, Blood Scent seems to have brought STEMM’s song writing process for Cross Roads to a maturity level loaded with an interesting blend of groovy guitar riffs, beats and vocal hooks with an intensity comparable to Alice in Chains, Pantera and Stone Sour.
STEMM is a proven survivor in a sea of ‘flash in the pan’ success stories. The bands live show and reputation in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) world since 2003 have landed STEMM on every UFC related television program and video game, plus song placement on Sega’s IRON MAN 2 and EA Sports ‘MMA’ video games. STEMM has also been tapped to play various Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Tour dates and other national tours over the years.

Princess Bambi Monroe
Let’s just say it. When you hear the name of 19 year-old singer-song writer Bambi Monroe for the first time it might conjure up images of stripper poles and Disney movies, but then again, Peaches isn’t exactly, well, a peach, is she? If you don’t know Bambi Monroe yet, you will soon associate her name with innocence gone awry, polished punk, heart pumping chords and an honest voice that blasts through her super infectious jamming anthems. Bambi has become a fierce authority on what it takes for a model beauty to kick Pop’s ass with steel toes and her weapon of choice, an electric guitar.
Born and raised by her grandparents in Britney Spears’ hometown Kentwood, Louisiana; Monroe is the anti-pop princess. “I am rebellious against people trying to put me in a box. I want to be a good role model for young girls, but I’ve realized that being a good role model doesn’t mean being perfect.”
Monroe’s grandma would tell you she has been singing and dancing since diapers, but Monroe made her first professional appearance at the pure age of nine. Since then, her sound and music mantra has evolved.
“I want to be the best girl guitar player in the world and my ULTIMATE dream is to one day be called ‘The Queen of Rock.‘
Chrissie Hynde once said, “That was the beauty of the punk thing: [Sexual] discrimination didn’t exist in that scene.” Struggling with her own identity, constantly being pigeonholed as a beauty queen, Monroe’s defining moment came when she severed her golden locks into a choppy bob and plugged in an electric guitar and screamed “Miss World” by Hole. Channeling her music heroes Cherie Currie, Debbie Harry, Siouxsie, and yes, the Beastie Boys, Monroe recently recorded her first EP Rock is a Drug, produced by her real life hero Tim Bennett of Civilized Tears with whom she co-wrote the songs. “Tim believed in me when no one else did and fought to help me bring my vision to life when no one else could see it. He is a ferocious supporter.”
The sound of the EP mirrors the definition of Monroe herself- self-governing, sexy, and rousing songs for the masses. The first song “House of Cards” is about knowing a bad thing when you see it. “If you’re caught up in lies and illusions, a house of cards can fall at any time- it’s a song about making it out safely before it crushes you- whatever it is that you need to get out of.”
The second song of the EP “Rock is a Drug” is a modernized old school love letter to rock itself; the kind that makes you beat up your steering wheel while speeding down the highway. ““Rock is A Drug” is my way of saying you don’t need drugs to get a high on life, you can get your high from music.”
The last song “Bet You Didn’t Know” is a hypnotic stream of consciousness that is clearly the most personal song on the EP. “A lot of people seem to judge me without really knowing my story. I suffer with a speech impediment and asthma, and it’s something that affects my life pretty much everyday. I’m telling the world “This is me”; try not to judge me so harshly. The lyrics are really honest and simple, and I hope they speak to someone who may be feeling the same way. The affirmation at the end when the choir comes in is ‘I’m not gonna fall, I’ll stand tall.’ “
Mentors have described her “as the second coming of Kurt Cobain”, people who know her describe her as caring and kind, strangers focus on her image, and fans who love her sound know she is a shooting star. Whatever associations you want to attach to the name Bambi Monroe, one thing is for sure; she is one step closer to Rock’s crown.

WINCHESTER REBELS
WINCHESTER REBELS was formed in August of 2009 in Santa Barbara California. Former “The Awakend” frontman, Nick Hunt and “Sicker Than Others” Bassist, John Livergood, came together after about a year of talking and started putting together a sound that would echo great hard rock bands from the 90′s with a twist of the new. Shortly after picking up a studio in Isla Vista, John and Hunt ran across their friend Nick Fitzgerald, guitarist from “Battleship Grey,” and things started coming together. After searching for another axe man and drummer Fitzgerald called two of his childhood friends from the Santa Ynez Valley guitarist James Longoria, formerly of “Giant Squid Show” and drummer Barry Carter, formerly of “Fifty Cents Short” to complete the lineup! However, After a little over a year of playing shows and helping to get the band Established, bassist John Livergood had to disband from Winchester and pursue other endeavors with his family out in Kansas. Shortly after his departure Fitzgerald managed to find Jesse Burrill, formerly of “Woodpecker from Mars” to replace Livergood on Bass and now Winchester Rebels are kicking down doors!
The drums are hard hitting, the guitars are heavy, the vocals inspire and carry the melodic sound of a band that demands to be heard. We have been compared to the likes of Alice In Chains, STP, Danzig, Muse, Bowie, Incubus and others. Listen to our music and you decide. See you at our next show.
